NST introduces the R7000 Electrical Receptacle Analyzer for Medical Facility Testing (PDF)

Toledo, OH – National Safety Technologies has released the R7000 Electrical Receptacle Analyzer. The R7000 has a large touchscreen for trouble-free data entry, with an expanded display that shows multiple test results at one time. The analyzer has the capability to preload outlet descriptor data to eliminate repetitive typing. The detachable reference cord offers two different test routines – an expanded program for comparative testing or a simplified program for troubleshooting and quick checks. Each test result is immediately recorded with a time and date stamp. The R7000 has ample memory for up to 10,000 receptacle tests and easily generates compliant reports with the newly developed Report Commander™ software.

The R7000 performs the standard “OKX” test that checks receptacle wiring polarity, isolated power wiring, line voltage, phase relationship between receptacles, neutral to ground voltage, neutral to ground resistance, ground to ground voltage, ground to ground resistance, and contact tension of hot, neutral and ground prongs.
